Samarkand Half Marathon<\/figcaption> \n<\/figure> \n \n

From 1 to 3 November, Uzbekistan will host the I International charity Half Marathon in Samarkand city.<\/p> \n \n

The main purpose of the project is to attract public attention to the problem of inclusivity in the objects of culture and art, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of sports tourism in Uzbekistan.<\/p> \n \n

Both experienced and novice runners can take part in the half marathon. The organizers provide distances of 21 km, 10 km, and 2 km. <\/p> \n \n

In preparation for the half marathon, the Foundation for the development of culture and art of the Republic of Uzbekistan will conduct a study on the problem of inclusivity. Specialists will conduct training in theaters, museums, and libraries of Uzbekistan. The results of the study will be presented in the form of a report within the educational program of the half marathon. <\/p> \n \n

The proceeds from the half marathon will be used to implement a pilot project in one of the theaters in Tashkent.<\/p> \n \n

Registration for the Samarkand half marathon for all three distances will last until October 20 on the website.<\/p> \n \n
